Iranian authorities have decided to enhance the filtration system on the Internet in order to in order to block thousands of new objectionable web sites of the Islamic Republic. It is reported the British newspaper "The Guardian".
This move was in response to the announcement of plans to develop new American services, which would allow access to blocked sites in countries with "limited freedom of speech." At the moment, Iran denied access to more than 5 million Internet resources, including websites BBC BBC, CNN, CNN and "The Guardian".
More recently, rigid filtering sites have been suspended, and the Iranian Internet users can even log into previously forbidden social network "Twitter" and "Facebook." But then it became clear that it was only a temporary phenomenon associated with the introduction of more advanced filtration system.
