Egypt cabinet introduces mixed electoral system (individual candidacy & party-list together), reduces minimum parliamentary candidate age to 25 and makes party lists to include at least one woman candidate. The cabinet also ordered the fair redesigning of constituencies to allow party-based and independent candidates to compete on an equal footing. Changes are yet to be agreed by the ruling military council.
